1861, 3¢ Franklin, light brown, First Design, trial color proof (Scott 63-E13c var.), a very scarce Premiere Gravure issue, large margins all around, two (faint) horizontal creases, otherwise Very Fine, with 2022 P.F. certificate, which indicates the color is red, it looks more like light brown to us.
