Canadian Provinces, 1851-1939, a small collection of better values, in mounts on blank pages. Includes New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia, with several early issues, also some better Newfoundland sets such as the 1910 Royal Family issue, 1919 Trail of the Caribou and 1928 Pictorial definitives (#145-159). A few are used, most are mint, with gum ranging from a few mint n.h. to mostly hinged down to some without gum. Centering is generally Fine to Very Fine. Fully imaged on the web. Scott $4,850.

Included are: British Columbia, 1¢-25¢, including 10¢ surcharge; New Brunswick and Nova Scotia perforated issues, many shades, varieties include 1¢ horizontal pair imperf. between, reprinted die proofs, perforation varieties; extensive Newfoundland, with imperforate singles to 1865, perforated from there, white and yellowish paper, many shades, some exceptionally well centered singles, surcharges, commemorative sets, airmail including DoX and Balbo, plus postage dues and some unlisted airmail semi-officials, labels, Wayzata 1932 $1 sheet of 20 and more. Canada, 1852-1963, an outstanding mostly mint collection, rich in high values, with much NH, in mounts on blank pages, all stamps carefully identified. This is essentially a collection of better values (with sound stamps cataloging up to $1300 each), including a few Province of Canada issues, 1¢ Large Queen mint o.g. with BPA certificate, 50¢ Widows Weeds lightly hinged, Queen Victoria Jubilees to the $2 plus $4 (all mint and some never hinged), some nice later Queen Victoria, Quebec complete, some King George V Admirals, 50¢ Blue Nose mint n.h. and $1 Parliament lightly hinged, numerous other King George V, King George VI and early Queen Elizabeth II high values, plus airmail, special delivery and War Tax. Only a few problems noted, mainly a few mint stamps without gum and a #7 with narrow margins. Condition is almost uniformly Fine to Very Fine, only a few better, only a few worse. An excellent lot for a collector, and could also serve as a dealer's stock of better values. Fully imaged on the web, so feast your eyes. Shipping weight 3 lbs / 1.3 kilos. Scott $27,500.
