Worldwide stamps, 19th and 20th century, a huge mint and used accumulation, tens of thousands of singles on stock pages, sorted in 22 three-ring binders, each containing a specific country or area. Most countries of Europe are represented, also Latin America (including Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Haiti, Panama, Paraguay and Peru), plus Ghana, Israel, Japan, Mongolia and Togo. There are many color and cancellation varieties throughout. Good variety here but there is duplication with up to 10 of a kind, mainly in the early material. A very clean well-organized lot with relatively few faults, much of the mint being never hinged. A small sampling has been imaged. Shipping weight 82 lbs / 37 kilos.
Estimate $1,200 - 1,800

Worldwide stamps, 1880's-1980's, a very large mint and used accumulation, housed in 3 bankers boxes. Thousands of stamps, in glassines, in stock books, in albums and a few loose. Mainly less expensive items, highest appears to be about $90. Usual range of condition but lots of salable and collectable stamps for the person willing to take the time to sort through this. We particularly liked the Jim Dempsey / A&D Stamps & Coins box that Jim had marked "foreign crud" (tell it like it is Jim!). Much chaff, some wheat. Definitely a lot for the patient. Shipping weight 58 lbs / 26.3 kilos.
Estimate $300 - 400.
