1917, 5¢ Washington, rose color error, unwatermarked, perf 11 (Scott 505), the single error in a remarkably choice strip of 3, o.g., never hinged, spectacularly well centered, Superb, with 2021 P.S.A.G. certificate graded SUP 98. Such choice centering is rare for a strip of this issue, the 2¢ values usually being off-center, even if the 5¢ is well centered.

SMQ is $4,250 for a single 5¢ error, there should clearly be a premium for a strip .
