1789-1890, Boston postmark cover collection, approximately 130 covers neatly mounted on pages documenting the date of usage, the destination, the postmark # as listed in the reference work by Blake and Davis entitled "Boston Postmarks to 1890", as well as any other notes of interest as to the content of the letters; mostly unique postmarks with very little duplication, an excellent study for the specialist with all of the covers imaged on the website, the reference work is offered in this sale as a separate lot and would be an obvious addition to a library without this particular work originally published in 1949 this being the 1974 edition, Fine to Very Fine.
