[Science] American Association for the Advancement of Science, a nice 1874 cover franked with 3¢ Bank Note (158), addressed to William S. Vaux / Philadelphia, PA with a nice "Due 3" in a circle; a great cover from one scientist to another, Fine to Very Fine, Putnam was one of the earlliest anthropologists in the US and Vaux a notable mineralogist.
