Yvert 5), horizontal pair with margins all around, paying the 80c rate via American ship (Collins Line) on an 1853 folded letter sheet from Paris via Le Havre, Liverpool and New York to Boston. Minor cover wear, Fine to Very Fine, a scarce early transatlantic usage. Yvert €2,500 ($2,720).
