19th century mint balance, 1845-98, over 60 stamps, some identified on cards, some on hingeless album pages, including about a dozen pre-1870 issues, many bank notes, some Bureau issues and a few Trans-Miss.; a couple are proofs. These are all "not quite individual auction lots": some have faults, some are no gum or regummed, some are in good condition but off-center, and a few are in good condition but catalog little, generally Fine to Very Fine appearance. Some meat here for the diligent - all are imaged on our web site. Scott $5,500+.
