Europe, 1849-1970's, a large chaotic accumulation, peppered with small treasures. Mint, used and covers on stock pages in totally random order in 8 binders, filling a large box. We note an assortment of Albania, bits of Belgium and Colonies (from First Issues used all the way to modern souvenir sheets), decent Danzig, a few French Colonies, groups of Greece and Greenland, hints of Hungary, interesting Iceland (airmails and others), intriguing Italian Ethiopia (and some independent Ethiopia also), lots of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia including souvenir sheets, a little Luxembourg with some nice mint sets, notable Norway (a smorgasbord of better sets and singles), a passel of Portugal and Colonies (with good souvenir sheets and Omnibus issues), rumors of Romania, a run of Russia with much value in airmails and better issues of the 1930's (think Zeppelins), substantial Spain (mainly issues of the 1930's including Civil War locals), a snippet of Switzerland and tidbits of Tannu Tuva (how could we possibly have a European lot without Tannu Tuva?). Kitchen sink not included but nearly everything else is. Much value here to rummage through - catalog value is undoubtedly in the thousands (Russia alone has sets and singles cataloging up to $500 each). A small sample has been imaged. Shipping weight 23 lbs / 10.5 kilos.
Estimate $500 - 1,000.
