Lote 316 //oScandinavia: Denmark, 1854-2001, a high quality and very extensive mostly mint collection, on hingeless pages in 3 albums. Included are regular issues, commemoratives, semi-postals, airmail, parcel post, postage dues and other back-of-the-book issues, also souvenir sheets, blocks and booklet panes. There is minor duplication in places (typically mint + used, or NH + hinged). The 19th century is well represented, 20th century is essentially complete from 1940. There are many better sets and singles cataloging up to $375. 19th century is mostly o.g., hinged; 20th century is extensively NH, including such better sets as the 1930 Christian X Birthday issue ($295). Condition overall is quite nice, averaging F.-V.F. or better, with few if any faults. A wonderful lot formed by a meticulous collector, and perfect for the collector looking for a premium collection.
