Lote 345 1888-1919, 4 used almost gems (Scott 215//540), almost but not quite: each is beautifully well centered within huge margins, with light cancels, but unfortunately also with either a tiny thin, tiny tear or a light crease. Numbers included are: 215, 219D (with a PF certificate, no less!), 524 and 540. If these were sound they would typically grade as XF-SUP 95, and if so graded, would have an SMQ value of $950. A lovely lot of near misses - just think of the money you are saving. Scott $79. Estimate $60 - 80. |
