South Africa: Transvaal, 1870-1909, an advanced mint & used collection, well described and annotated with Stanley Gibbons numbers. An exceptional collection with numerous high-value singles and sets, with many dozens of stamps neatly mounted on quadrille pages. We note both perf. and imperf. issues, different printings, V.R. overprints, a few reprints so identified. There are two £5 stamps that are not counted in the S.G. total catalog figure. A clean, fresh, nice quality collection well worth reviewing. Mainly Fine to Very Fine with only a few faults. SG £5,100 ($6,500) (Owner's).
