Greece, 1861-2003, a superior used collection for advanced collectors, with many hundreds of used singles and sets all neatly hinged in a Scott Specialty album plus a few covers. Begins with an array of Hermes Heads including duplicates with many in excellent quality including the better issues all put together by a determined philatelist who had an affinity for Greek stamps. The collection is replete with many scarce used stamps, often more difficult to acquire than their mint counterparts. There are too many highlights to list all, but here are a few by Scott numbers #1-2, 5-7, 8-9, 11-15, 29,55, 64-72, 81-89, 117-128, 159-162, 184-197, 378-380, C1-C53 plus C1-C4 on cover. Also one unused stamp Crete #1 bought at auction plus more used back-of-the-book issues. A superior collection and viewing is a pleasure. Nice quality throughout, mainly Fine to Very Fine with few faults. Very high Scott value. Shipping weight 6.2 lbs / 2.8 kilos.
Estimate $3,000 - 4,000.
