1917, 2¢ Washington, rose, type I, vertical pair, imperf. between (Scott 499c), fresh color and nicely centered, o.g., hinged (with some gum loss around the hinge mark, and pencil notes on the gum); scissors separated at top (like a straight edge), otherwise Fine, with a 1957 P.F. certificate (Louise Boyd Dale signature). Datz notes it is "very rare". Scott $900.
