Lee: His Military and History, published in 1886; 707 pages with a few black and white illustrations; First edition of Lee's memoirs, written by his military secretary - "one of the most valuable source books for the history of Lee and of the Civil War" - handsome in publisher's deluxe full morocco-gilt which shows some wear; spine is damaged however pages are remarkably clean for its age!
